Southeast Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to manage hospital bed capacity, coordinate patient transfers, and monitor throughput to ensure safe, timely admissions and discharges. You will collaborate with ED, nursing, physicians, and other facilities using the EPIC system to optimize patient placement.

The role focuses on streamlining bed availability, reducing delays, and maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in the State of Alabama.
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience;3 years preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage hospital bed capacity and patient flow; ensure safe, efficient placement.
• Act as liaison between admitting, nursing, physicians, and transferring hospitals.
• Enter and review data in the EPIC system; maintain documentation for compliance.
