Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience with deep networking fundamentals; transport protocol optimization, congestion control, adaptive bitrate.
• Experience managing unreliable wireless links and multi-path networking in cellular or WiFi environments.
• Background at high-performance edge/CDN networks such as Cloudflare, Fastly, or Akamai is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize the transport stack using protocols like QUIC, TCP/UDP and custom congestion control.
• Develop multi-path bonding to maintain robust performance over degraded wireless links that robots encounter in the field.
• Own end-to-end networking decisions at a startup where your work directly controls the success of robotic missions.
