Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC seeks Montenegrin OPI interpreters to support USCIS interviews and official proceedings. This remote role requires accuracy, neutrality, and strict confidentiality in immigration and legal settings.

Must be native or near-native in Montenegrin and English, have 2+ years of interpreting experience, and be eligible for Tier 3/5 federal clearance. Competitive hourly pay and paid training are offered.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Montenegrin and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, healthcare, government preferred).
• Knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to stay accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Montenegrin-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Adhere to USCIS/DHS confidentiality and interpreter ethics standards.
• Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge assignments.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.
