Job summary

Amentum Advanced Solutions is seeking a Software Programmer Intermediate to support projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key data acquisition and control efforts. You will develop modules in LabVIEW, C#, and .NET, integrate NI PXI/cRIO hardware, and help design relational data systems.

You will gain hands-on experience with LabVIEW, Redis, Kafka, MSSQL, Git, and collaborative software practices while delivering robust software for test facilities and control rooms.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in CS/CE/EE with software focus and 3+ years in design and deployment.
• Strong OO design, version control and SDLC knowledge.
• Experience with LabVIEW/C/C++/C#/.NET or similar OOP languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office and teamwork in a technical environment.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software modules for data acquisition and control systems using LabVIEW, C#, and .NET.
• Integrate hardware and software for real-time data acquisition platforms (PXI/cRIO).
• Contribute to RDBMS development including schema design and data integration with MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate on system architecture using OO principles and design patterns.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for features and testing.
