Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for the Saginaw, MI area to monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate data in our warehouse systems. You will coordinate with receiving, shipping, and logistics, and generate reports for management to keep operations efficient.

A High school diploma or GED and proficiency with Excel and warehouse software are preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for recognizing trends and discrepancies.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory levels in real time and trigger reorders.
• Perform regular cycle counts and investigate discrepancies between physical stock and system data.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspect goods for damage or missing parts, and prepare outgoing items.
• Label and store products safely in a warehouse, stockroom, or distribution center.
• Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management, purchasing, and logistics teams.
