Job summary

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of electricity and interconnected system operations and PJM policies.
• Forecasting techniques and analysis methodology.
• Familiarity with PJM markets, operating policies and unit scheduling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain power system reliability by ensuring operations comply with NERC standards and PJM procedures.
• Operate PJM OASIS site and provide customer support for energy scheduling.
• Process inquiries for energy transactions, scheduling, and generation outage information.
• Represent PJM as contact for OASIS, TMS, EES, NERC IDC, OATI and related systems.
• Direct and optimize scheduling of generating units to meet load and reserve requirements.
• Monitor generator capability changes, return dates, and operating constraints.
