Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking a Master Coordinator to ensure the PJM system is properly scheduled and to administer energy market transactions in real time. The role involves directing firm-load shedding when needed and maintaining reliability, with training and certification requirements ongoing.

The position requires rotating shifts, 7x24 staffing including holidays, and progression toward the Generation Dispatcher role within a defined period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 0–5 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or AS/CS background.
• NERC Certified System Operator and PJM certifications pursued after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain power system reliability and comply with NERC and PJM procedures.
• Operate OASIS site and support energy scheduling for customers.
• Process inquiries for energy transactions, scheduling, and outages promptly.
• Direct scheduling of generators to meet load and reserve needs.
• Monitor generator units and adjust strategy with Market Operations.
• Forecast PJM load for the next 7 days and track data integrity.
