Transaction Network Services (TNS) is looking for a Network Engineer to join their Financial Markets Network Engineering team in Pennsylvania. The role involves supporting real-time trading and market data connectivity, providing experience with routing, switching, and packet-level troubleshooting. Required qualifications include 3+ years in global IP networks, expertise with Cisco and Juniper, and relevant certifications. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting global IP networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms.
• Strong Layer-2 knowledge including VLANs and trunking.

Responsibilities

• Support add/move/change (MAC) activities across networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot network services (Layer-2 and Layer-3).
• Assist with BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing changes.
• Support NAT configuration and fault isolation.

Skills

Experience supporting global IP networks

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms

Layer-2 knowledge (VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP)

Layer-3 fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)

NAT fundamentals and troubleshooting

Multicast fundamentals (IGMP, PIM)

Packet capture and analysis skills

Strong communication skills

Education

CCNA or CCNP certification

NCIA or JNCIP certification
