Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is looking for a Network Engineer to join their Financial Markets Network Engineering team in Kentucky. This role supports real-time trading and market data connectivity. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience with global IP networks and strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms. A competitive salary range of $90,000–$100,000 is offered, along with a benefits package including medical coverage, retirement contributions, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting global IP networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms.
• Strong Layer-2 knowledge including VLANs, trunking.
• Strong Layer-3 fundamentals related to BGP, OSPF, IS-IS.
• Experience with NAT troubleshooting and multicast fundamentals.
• Packet capture and traffic analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support add/move/change (MAC) activities across financial networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer-2 and Layer-3 services.
• Assist with routing changes and troubleshooting.
• Support NAT configuration and fault isolation.
• Perform packet capture and assist with traffic analysis.
• Collaborate on automation-enabled configurations.
