Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Network Engineer to support real-time trading and market data connectivity across global networks. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with IP networks and strong skills in Layer-2 and Layer-3 technologies. Responsibilities include configuring network services, assisting with routing protocols, and working on automation tasks. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in supporting global IP networks.
• Strong Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking skills.
• Experience with packet capture and traffic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support add/move/change activities across production networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer-2 and Layer-3 network services.
• Assist with routing changes and troubleshooting.

Skills

Experience supporting global IP networks

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista

Layer-2 knowledge (VLANs, trunking)

Layer-3 fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS)

NAT fundamentals and troubleshooting

Multicast fundamentals (IGMP, PIM)

Packet capture and analysis skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

CCNA or CCNP

NCIA or JNCIP
