Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Financial Markets Network Engineering team in Missouri. The role supports real-time trading and market data connectivity. Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting network services, assisting with routing protocols, and performing traffic analysis. Ideal candidates should have over 3 years of experience in global IP networks and knowledge of Cisco/Juniper platforms. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting global IP networks.
• Strong knowledge of Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support add/move/change (MAC) activities across production networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer-2 and Layer-3 network services.
• Assist with routing changes and fault isolation.

Skills

Experience supporting global IP networks

Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms

Layer-2 knowledge (VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP)

Layer-3 fundamentals (BGP basics, OSPF/IS-IS concepts)

NAT fundamentals and troubleshooting experience

Multicast fundamentals (IGMP, PIM)

Packet capture and analysis skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

CCNA or CCNP

NCIA or JNCIP
