Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Triage Engineer to support VA Event Management by improving monitoring and triage processes for enterprise systems. You will work within the ECC MIEM team to detect and investigate issues across applications and technology stacks, correlating real-time performance data from monitoring platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years in IT operations, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with systems administration and operations.
• 5+ years of experience with application/platform support including monitoring tool use/configuration and incident response.
• 5+ years deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications at an enterprise scale.
• 1+ years of experience in cloud technologies (AWS or Azure), containers, and SaaS/PaaS implementations.
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Detect and investigate issues across enterprise-level applications and technology stacks.
• Assist in major incident triage by correlating and delivering real-time performance data across monitoring platforms.
• Elevate critical alerts to stakeholders and tailor alert thresholds to reduce false positives.
• Escalate issues with monitoring tools to the proper support teams.
• Provide shift support during weekends, holidays, or off-hours, as required.
