Responsibilities

  • Continually project system load requirements and commit the most economical APS resources.
  • Monitor and analyze on-line generation to ensure adequate reserves.
  • Maintain proficiency to operate multiple Real Time positions and train others as needed.
  • Analyze real-time market conditions and negotiate the most economical energy sources.
  • Ensure compliance with related operating agreements and guidelines.
  • Document all transactions, communications, and events accurately.
  • Develop and present real-time marketing strategies to leadership.
  • Represent APS and Resource Management professionally with other units and companies.
  • Uphold safe, reliable, and compliant shift culture and practices.
  • Ensure logs reflect actions and decisions taken during the shift.
