Job summary

L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation seeks a Software Engineer to join the Range and Test Solutions team. You will develop software across the full SDLC for flight test instrumentation and shipboard systems, with emphasis on real-time embedded and client/server database applications.

The role requires proficiency in SDLC, embedded/real-time development, and multiple programming languages, with up to 20% travel and potential extended hours.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 4+ years software development experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years (or 8+ years if no degree).
• 3+ years of experience with system/software requirements management.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded or real-time software development, GUI design and development.
• 3+ years in one or more of: C, C++, C#, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for flight test instrumentation and shipboard systems.
• Carry out SDLC activities from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Perform trade studies, root causa analysis, and other software investigations.
• Travel up to 20% and work extended hours as needed.
