L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Range and Test Solutions software development team in Yorba Linda, CA. The role focuses on real-time embedded software across data acquisition, logging, and client/server systems, with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in embedded/RTOS development, strong C/C++/C#/Java/Python skills, and experience with software requirements and design artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of software development experience; or 2 years with Graduate Degree.
• 3+ years in SDLC and in system/software requirements management.
• 3+ years in embedded or real-time software development and GUI design/development.
• Experience in C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for test instrumentation, data acquisitions and recording, logging, client/server, and database apps.
• Create software requirements and design documents; perform trade studies and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes; travel and extended hours as needed.
