Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City seeks a Senior Specialist, Software Engineering to help build foundational systems in our System Software group. Responsibilities

Embedded real-time software development (VxWorks/Linux).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop performance requirements, interfaces for software and hardware, and system design.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle incl. requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Contribute to software test plans, procedures, and related documentation.
Demonstrates depth of knowledge in programming languages, compilers, and application execution.
Participate in peer reviews, identify and repair defects.
Utilize Windows, Linux and embedded RTOS environments.
Occasional customer support travel (5%).
