Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking an engineer to assist in research, development, validation and maintenance of real-time/embedded software. You will work on low-level development, OS/Kernel configuration for Linux/VxWorks across hardware architectures, and verify hardware via software.

The role involves C/C++, device drivers, networked client-server apps and database-driven software, with emphasis on robust, secure networking and media streaming capabilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years work experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plans, designs, modifies and implements software applications from specs.
• Codes, tests, debugs, and refines software to produce the product.
• Develops tools to support software development, testing and reuse.
• Enhances software to improve efficiency and robustness.
• Reviews and analyzes design interfaces.
• Prepares interface documentation, test plans and procedures.
• Assists in requirements analysis and allocation.
• Supports system test programs and analyzes results.
• Maintains software through lifecycle familiarity.
• Documents designs with diagrams and data/logic flows.
• Assists in troubleshooting and debugging designs.
