Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of work experience.
• C/C++ in Linux with TCP/IP networking and device drivers.
• Familiarity with network security methodologies a plus.
• Experience with multimedia streaming applications desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Ability to plan engineering activities and work with customer-facing docs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs, modifies and implements software applications from design specs.
• Codes, integrates, tests, debugs, and refines software to deliver the product.
• Develops tools and subsystems to support development and testing.
• Enhances software to improve efficiency and robustness.
• Reviews design interfaces and evaluates documentation.
• Prepares and evaluates interface specifications, test plans and procedures.
• Assists in requirements analysis and allocation.
• Supports system test programs and analyzes results.
• Maintains software throughout its lifecycle.
• Documents designs with block diagrams and data/logic flow charts.
• Assists in troubleshooting and debugging designs.
