Dynapower, Part of Sensata Technologies, seeks a Software Design Engineer specializing in real-time NI Linux and LabVIEW development for deterministic control and monitoring software for mission critical military applications. You will design architectures on NI real-time hardware and generate comprehensive documentation for compliance.

The role emphasizes rigorous configuration management, lifecycle documentation, and long-term sustainment of installed systems, with ITAR/EAR eligibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with OO languages (C#, Python, Java).
• Experience in LabVIEW real-time development and NI Linux RT platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced military/aerospace environment with ITAR/EAR considerations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on complex software for Sensata products following coding standards.
• Develops software to control external hardware for automated test equipment.
• Organizes software engineering tools, build processes and debugging workflows.
• Designs small functional additions and participates in peer code reviews.
• Develops real time control and monitoring software on NI Linux RT platforms using LabVIEW.
• Performs hardware-in-the-loop testing and integrates software with NI hardware.
