Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain embedded software for complex real-time control systems.
- Develop robust system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing functionality.
- Implement and integrate software using embedded C/C++ within real-time environments.
- Interface with hardware using communication protocols including CAN/CAN FD, SPI, Ethernet, and ARINC 825/664.
- Support model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink and participate in SIL and HIL testing activities.
- Integrate, debug, and validate software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality, safety-critical software solutions.
- Contribute to system verification, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure software development complies with relevant functional safety and aerospace standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing embedded control software for complex real-time systems.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and real-time software architecture.
- Experience designing system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing.
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN/CAN FD, SPI, Ethernet, or ARINC 825/664.
- Experience with model-based design tools including MATLAB/Simulink and SIL/HIL testing.
- Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
- Knowledge of safety-critical development standards including DO-178C, ARP4754/4761, and/or ISO 26262.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and system-level problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
