Job summary

Gravity IT Resources seeks an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop firmware for energy-management and power-electronics systems. The role focuses on real-time DSP algorithms, DSPs, ARM MCUs, and FPGA platforms to support precise energy calculations and control functions.

You will work with hardware teams to ensure robust integration, debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, and thorough documentation of interfaces and data structures.

Qualifications

• Six+ years embedded software experience in control, measurement, power, or energy systems.
• Advanced proficiency with embedded C and C++.
• Experience developing bare-metal and/or RTOS applications.
• Practical knowledge of DSP and energy-measurement algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with ARM-based MCUs, TI DSPs, and FPGA platforms.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and hardware buses.
• Debugging complex firmware and HW/SW integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for embedded power-monitoring, switching-control, and energy-measurement systems.
• Create and optimize DSP algorithms for real-time applications.
• Develop solutions using TI DSPs, ARM MCUs, and FPGA-based platforms.
• Interface with ADCs and analog front ends to capture signals.
• Implement protocols such as RS-485, Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN, Ethernet, MQTT, SNMP.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during integration and testing.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering interfaces and data structures.
