Job summary

Anduril Industries is building a software-defined weapon optic that fuses real-time computer vision with embedded processing to aid the warfighter. You will tackle target detection, tracking, camera calibration, and pose estimation in resource-constrained environments.

The role requires deep knowledge of real-time vision algorithms, C++/Python, and collaboration with hardware teams to integrate software into production weapon sight hardware. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong knowledge of camera projection, distortion, and multi-view geometry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize real-time target detection, classification, and tracking for embedded platforms.
• Build and refine camera/sensor calibration pipelines for multi-sensor weapon sight assemblies.
• Develop pose estimation and localization using multi-view geometry techniques.
• Profile and optimize vision models for constrained hardware and power budgets.
• Create testing frameworks and evaluate performance under operational conditions.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to integrate vision software.
