Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks a System Operator to ensure safe, reliable distribution of electricity in the Azle area. The System Operator will monitor OMS/SCADA, coordinate outage response, and support real-time operations in a 24/7 control room setting.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency with Windows and utility software, and the ability to learn new procedures quickly. Shift work includes nights, weekends, and holidays as part of rotating schedules.

Qualificações

• Education and experience requirements are met with a high school diploma and the ability to learn new systems.
• Operational experience in dispatch or system operations in electric utilities is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and office software applications is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and operate the electric distribution system using SCADA/OMS and related tools.
• Coordinate outage response, service restoration, switching, and emergency operations.
• Support continuous 24/7 control room operations via rotating shifts.
• Document events and communicate with field personnel, engineers, and departments.
