Job summary

Bish’s RV in Oak Grove, KY seeks a Dispatch Coordinator to own daily dispatching, scheduling, and workflow coordination in the service department. You’ll assign repair orders, balance technician capacity, and drive shop throughput with clear communication and real-time adjustments.

You will partner with the Service Manager and advisors, track performance, reduce downtime, and ensure a high-quality customer experience through reliable execution. RV or automotive service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in dispatching, scheduling, or service workflow coordination.
• Experience working with technicians in a service or repair environment.
• Familiarity with productivity, efficiency, and cycle time metrics.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch & Workflow Management: assign repair orders to technicians based on skill, availability, and priority; maintain a clear priority system; monitor progress; adjust as needed; ensure orders are ready prior to dispatch; communicate expectations to technicians and service advisors.
• Shop Coordination & Support: align daily priorities with Service Manager; ensure work is staged, ready, and properly sequenced; identify workflow bottlenecks; monitor productivity trends.
• Productivity, Metrics & Performance Tracking: track technician productivity, efficiency, utilization, and RECT; maintain dispatch records; report results to Service Manager; identify trends and recommend adjustments.
• Customer Experience & Communication: provide accurate timelines and updates; escalate delays as needed; support high NPS and customer satisfaction; manage customer experience issues when necessary.
• Operational Awareness: align dispatch decisions with labor efficiency targets; understand impact on revenue and customer satisfaction; communicate capacity constraints to leadership.
