Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Software Engineer for real-time systems work on the Cboe Titanium platform. You will design, develop, deploy, and support components with emphasis on reliability, testability, and low latency.

The role requires a strong CS foundation, 2+ years in C++ or equivalent, Linux/Unix experience, and SQL and Python proficiency. On-site work in Kansas City area is expected, with regular code reviews and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with C++, or strong experience in another language with a desire to learn C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and at least one scripting language, such as Python.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve through feedback.

Responsibilities

• Implement performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions within the real-time Titanium platform.
• Ensure solutions are well tested with QA collaboration.
• Participate in reviews of solutions and those of other engineers.
