Insight Global is hiring a Software Engineer for real-time systems work on the Cboe Titanium platform. You will design, develop, deploy, and support components with emphasis on reliability, testability, and low latency.

The role requires a strong CS foundation, 2+ years in C++ or equivalent, Linux/Unix experience, and SQL and Python proficiency. On-site work in Kansas City area is expected, with regular code reviews and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience with C++, or strong experience in another language with a desire to learn C++.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and at least one scripting language, such as Python.
• Experience with databases and SQL.

The OPx site provides a balaThe Real-time Software Engineering team is hiring for a Software Engineer.Software engineers at Cboe design, develop, deploy, and support real-time systems. We care deeply about system reliability, testability, recoverability, fault tolerance, throughput, and latency. We measure times in microseconds and nanoseconds. Your responsibilities will be:

• Implement performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions to technical projects within the Cboe Titanium exchange platform - with guidance and support from peers and mentors.
• Ensure your solutions are well tested, both by your own testing and in collaboration with our QA team.
• Participate in reviews of both your solutions and those of other engineers.

Skills and Requirements

Local to Kansas City - on site 4x per week2+ years of experience with C++, or strong experience in another programming language with a desire to learn C++.

Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments and at least one scripting language, such as Python.

Experience with databases and SQL.

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and improve through feedback.

Minimum Education Requirement:
