Job summary

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for the Real-time Software Engineering team in the Kansas City area. You will design, develop, deploy, and support real-time systems, focusing on reliability, testability, and low latency.

You'll work with a team that ships code weekly, values learning, and fosters internal mobility, with a four-day in-office schedule. A Bachelor's degree in CS/CE is required and 2+ years of C++ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with C++
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Linux/UNIX-like systems and Python scripting
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Self-directed and eager to learn from feedback

Responsibilities

• Implement performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions within the Cboe Titanium exchange platform – with guidance and support from peers and mentors.
• Ensure your solutions are well tested, both by your own testing and in collaboration with our QA team.
• Participate in reviews of both your solutions and those of other engineers.
