We are seeking a driver coordination professional to direct daily assignments, ensure on-time execution, and maintain clear communication with drivers and stakeholders. Responsibilities include scheduling, routing support, and enforcing safety and policy standards, while

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; and knowledge of basic office equipment
• Ten-key and data entry skills with accuracy and speed
• Basic clerical and math skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer literacy, preferably in word processing and spreadsheets
• Excellent oral communication skills to respond and present professionally to callers and visitors
• Prioritization, organization, coordination, and time management skills to develop and maintain filing systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively handle a wide range of inquiries from internal and external sources

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily assignments; schedule drivers and assign vehicles to ensure daily coverage of all routes
• Ensure daily activities of drivers are assigned and accomplished on time
• Communicate details of driving assignments to drivers for proper execution
• Assist drivers with routing directions and special services when required
• Escalate disciplinary actions for staff violations as needed
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate repairs and replacements on routes
• Notify stakeholders of changes in routes and incidents that disrupt service
• Maintain route documentation for accurate information to customers and compliance
• Coordinate vehicle service with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted service
• Maintain dispatch standard operating procedures
• Handle customer concerns and information requests promptly
• Escalate unresolved issues to management as appropriate
