Job summary

Jampp, a programmatic advertising platform, is seeking a senior backend engineer to build real-time bidding services in Python and Go. You will work on high-traffic, low-latency systems that scale across the globe.

You’ll collaborate with data science, infra, and design teams, design efficient data structures, and uphold a high standard of tested code. This remote-first role offers ownership from day one and opportunities to influence the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of programming experience.
• Experience with high-traffic, low-latency architectures.
• Proficient in Python; knowledge of Go is a plus.
• Strong system design fundamentals.
• Experience with container-based deployment pipelines.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM).
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Code in Python and Go high-performance backend applications like our bidder.
• Design, develop and test features for a real-time bidding architecture.
• Implement and use complex algorithms and data structures focused on performance.
• Work with data science, data infra, and design teams.
• Set and hold a high bar quality, well-tested code.
• Actively participate in our product definition.
