Job summary

Averity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale real-time bidding infrastructure for a high-traffic AdTech platform. You will work on OpenRTB workflows, SSP/DSP integrations and performance-critical backend systems.

You should bring 7+ years of backend experience, deep Go and Python production expertise, and a strong AdTech background to own major backend initiatives from architecture to production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Go.
• Strong production experience with Python.
• Deep professional experience in AdTech.
• Hands-on experience building RTB platforms, SSPs or DSPs.
• Strong understanding of OpenRTB and programmatic auction mechanics.
• Experience with high-scale distributed or latency-sensitive systems.
• Ability to operate as a senior IC and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build real-time bidding and auction infrastructure
• Develop and scale SSP / DSP integrations and OpenRTB workflows
• Work across bid requests, responses, timeouts, floor pricing and deal mechanics
• Build high-throughput, latency-sensitive backend services
• Help migrate performance-critical systems from Python to Go
• Own major backend initiatives from architecture through production
• Improve scalability, reliability and performance across the ad platform
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural direction
