Job summary

Visa is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst for its Authorization Operations team to support VIP/VisaNet and OVN platforms in a multi-datacenter environment. You will be the first point of contact for internal Visa support teams, handling incidents, changes and problem tickets with strong technical and communication skills.

The role requires monitoring, rapid issue mitigation, and collaboration with L2/L3 groups.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree.
Hands-on experience with IBM TPF or equivalent Real Time OS and Open source distributed systems on Linux, Kubernetes, Kafka.
Experience with Linux, Unix, MVS, VM, SuperVision, HMC, ServiceNow, CoPilot, ChatGPT, Kubernetes, Kafka, Opera, DB2, ClickHouse/Splunk or Cassandra.
Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking and incident management skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills; ability to prioritize in a changing workload.
ITIL Foundation certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Monitor the Authorization TPF and OVN consoles; provide first-level response to mitigate issues.
Operate Visa Authorization systems in a multi-datacenter environment.
Track, update and resolve incidents, changes and problems in the service management system.
Collaborate with L2/L3 support groups and development teams to resolve changes and incidents.
Follow documented procedures; ensure documentation is thorough and high quality.
Participate in team meetings in-person or via MS Teams; supervise System Specialist activity as needed.
Maintain and build technical skills through ongoing training; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
