Job summary

The Building People, LLC seeks a Real Property Specialist in Mountain View, CA to support Army Reserve real property programs and asset management. You will manage inventories, validate data, and assist with audits and compliance across installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Real Property Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting DoD real property, real estate, facilities management, or asset management programs.
• Experience using GFEBS and familiarity with Army real property processes.
• Working knowledge of HQIIS and real property inventory systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government security credentials.

Responsibilities

• Support daily real property operations in coordination with DPW Realty personnel.
• Process acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and capital improvements in GFEBS.
• Maintain accurate real property records and ensure compliance with Army regulations.
• Research historical property documentation and as-built drawings.
• Identify unrecorded assets for proper capitalization and accountability.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute physical inventories of real property assets.
• Validate facility data including square footage and status.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly status reports and health assessments for leadership.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
