First American’s National Commercial Services Underwriting internship invites graduate and law students to gain hands-on exposure to the title and financial services industry within a corporate setting. You will perform legal research, assist with underwriting analyses, and learn from experienced professionals under managerial guidance.

2L and 3L students will support assignments related to real estate law, including indemnity letters and seminars, while developing professional and interpersonal

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Law School.
• Rising 2L or 3L law student.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Interest in Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial Services, Title Insurance, or related industries.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research in support of underwriting decisions.
• Analyze real estate law issues, including title, lien, foreclosure, and authority matters.
• Review policy forms, endorsements, and underwriting standards.
• Shadow underwriters on active transactions and approval workflows.
