First American Title Company seeks a National Commercial Services Underwriting intern to gain hands-on exposure to real estate law, title insurance, and underwriting workflows through meaningful assignments under guidance from experienced professionals.

2L or 3L law students will support legal research, indemnity letters, and seminars while developing professional skills in a corporate setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.

• Law students actively pursuing real estate and mortgage law insight.
• Strong research, writing and analytical abilities required.
• Attention to detail and professional communication emphasized.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research in support of underwriting decisions
• Analyze real estate law issues, including title, lien, foreclosure, and authority matters
• Review policy forms, endorsements, and underwriting standards
• Participate in underwriting file discussions and risk analysis sessions
• Shadow underwriters on active transactions and approval workflows
