Job summary

AMLI Residential is seeking a Transactions & Risk Coordinator in Chicago, IL. The role supports real estate acquisitions from LOI through closing and post-closing, coordinating due diligence, deadlines and risk assessment in a fast-paced team. Hybrid work is available, three days per week in downtown Chicago.

The position emphasizes project management, organization, and collaboration with attorneys, consultants and property teams to ensure accurate closing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in real estate transactions or deal-intensive environments.
• Experience in multifamily or commercial real estate is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage deal calendars, checklists and task trackers.
• Track transaction deliverables and coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel.
• Review due diligence materials for completeness and risks.
• Suggest processes and templates to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate property site visits and third-party due diligence.
• Travel occasionally to AMLI properties for onsite due diligence.
• Organize NDAs for real estate transactions and manage data rooms.
• Review closing binders and maintain final transaction records.
• Support post-closing obligations and insurance placements.
