AMLI Residential is seeking a highly organized Transactions & Risk Coordinator to support real estate acquisitions from LOI through closing and post-closing. This hybrid role in Chicago requires coordinating calendars, due diligence, data rooms, and post-closing obligations while working closely with the Transactions Director and VP, Legal & Risk Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in real estate transactions, project management, construction management, property management or other deal-intensive environment preferred.
• Multifamily or commercial real estate experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage deal-specific calendars, checklists and task trackers along with a master calendar for leadership visibility.
• Track transaction deliverables and follow up with internal teams and outside counsel to keep workstreams on schedule.
• Review due diligence materials for completeness, identify gaps and coordinate follow-up.
• Coordinate site visits, due diligence inspections and third-party consultants.
• Manage non-disclosure agreements and organize transaction data rooms and closing binders.
• Support post-closing obligations and insurance placements; maintain central insurance database.

AMLI Residential | Legal & Risk Management DepartmentChicago, IL | Hybrid – 3 Days per Week in Downtown Chicago OfficeSalary: $60,000–$80,000AMLI Residential is expanding its Legal & Risk Management team and is seeking a highly organized, proactive Transactions & Risk Coordinator to support our growing portfolio of real estate acquisitions. This newly created role will help keep complex transactions organized and on track from letter of intent through closing and post-closing. The coordinator will evaluate transaction deliverables, identify gaps and potential risks, manage critical deadlines, coordinate due diligence activities and help ensure closing readiness.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys project management, real estate, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
