Job summary

Compass, Inc. is seeking a Transaction Coordinator in Seattle to manage the listings, transactions, and commission processes. You will collaborate with Agents, lenders, attorneys, and title companies, ensuring timely and compliant handling from document preparation through payout.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work both independently and with a team to support agents in building their client businesses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processing function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferred.
• Strong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent's contract data.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer service-oriented personality.
• Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• BA or B.S. degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirements.
• Ensure real estate contracts are processed properly and promptly, with a focus on the details.
• Manage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are met.
• Navigate company systems to validate the accuracy of compliance and commission records.
• Provide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculations.
• Collaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents.
