Job summary

Lord Abbett is seeking a Transaction Manager in Jersey City to own end-to-end execution logistics for acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions. You will track deadlines, coordinate counterparties, manage paper flow, and surface issues before they become problems so leaders can focus on decisions.

This execution/coordination role supports the Head of Origination and fund leadership, with a focus on timely closings and accurate transaction logs across markets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in real estate transaction coordination or related roles.
• Experience tracking LOIs/PSAs and deadlines across markets.
• Experience with title/escrow and closing management.
• Ability to interface with lenders, title companies, brokers, and outside counsel.
• Strong written communication and high discretion handling confidential deal terms.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition-Side Transactions: track pipeline, deadlines, and closing logistics across active markets.
• Negotiation Facilitation: route offers, track redlines, and manage paper flow without setting terms.
• Financing Coordination: coordinate loan closing logistics and lender coordination.
• Disposition-Side Transactions: manage listing prep, offers, and closing coordination with brokers.
• Cross-Cutting / Ongoing: maintain master transaction calendar and prepare status reports.
