Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize, evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. The Senior Transaction Manager will join the New York Accounts team, supporting a multinational investment bank and financial services company as a key account. This role involves managing and executing complex lease and/or capital transactions while fostering client relationships and driving business growth. The position is responsible for overseeing regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, memoranda documenting significant client issues, and strategic planning. The Senior Transaction Manager will work primarily in a leadership capacity on complex projects, functioning either independently or as part of a team, and will supervise the workload of Analysts and potentially other Transaction Managers. Additional responsibilities include directing special projects and assignments as needed. The ideal candidate will manage and collaborate with professionals across various disciplines and business units, demonstrating experience in successfully managing complex projects to completion, thinking strategically, acting proactively, fostering growth of junior talent and building strong client trust and confidence.
An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's, MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred 10-15 years of relevant work experience with at least 4-8 years as a Transaction Manager in commercial real estate Proven transaction management experience with demonstrated skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiations Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Excellent negotiating, analytical, collaboration, organization/planning, and process management abilities Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics Outstanding client service skills Proven ability to manage a team This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
