Job summary

The Sage Title team in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Business Development Representative who will conduct real estate settlements and provide market title services under the supervision of the Title Branch Manager.

You will build relationships with prospects, brokers, Realtors and lenders, promote seminars, develop leads, and report on sales activity while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5 years sales experience; real estate background preferred.
• Notary Public Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
• Wage is $59,000–$65,000 annually based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, existing customers, Real Estate brokerages, Realtors and lenders.
• Increase market share within the assigned region.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Company, as well as competitors’ products and services.
• Develop leads and sales opportunities and follow through with defined sales plan.
• Report business development and sales activity.
• Represent Sage Title in the market and at industry events.
• Promote open communication maintain mutually beneficial, productive internal relationships.
• Conduct real estate closings.
• Offer real estate educational seminars for brokers and realtors.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as requested or assigned.
