Genentech is seeking a Real Estate Specialist to drive end-to-end deal lifecycle management within our California portfolio, partnering with RES and cross-functional teams to advance patient-focused objectives.

You will coordinate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing processes, ensure lease governance, and maintain accurate data across the portfolio while optimizing workflows and supporting site operations.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in corporate real estate, commercial finance, or legal operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven track record of managing processes and building strong, trusting relationships across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in end‑to‑end execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing by facilitating due diligence and closing documentation.
• Align internal teams and external partners to meet transaction timelines and milestones.
• Maintain portfolio records and trackers for visibility into key dates (renewals, expirations, data entry, admin ops).
• Monitor lease documentation for ongoing compliance with disclosures, insurance, move-out conditions, and governance.
