Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Real Estate Specialist to drive the end-to-end execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing while ensuring compliance and seamless operations across the portfolio. You will partner with the Real Estate Strategy team, legal, finance, site operations, and external partners to manage data, timelines, and governance, enabling strategic decisions and value realization.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in corporate real estate, commercial finance, or legal operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across matrixed teams.
• Strong project management and organizational precision with MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with real estate management software (Lease Harbor, MyBuy).
• Willingness to work onsite a minimum of three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-to-end execution of acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing with due diligence and closing support.
• Coordinate internal teams (Legal, Finance, Site Operations, Design & Construction) and external partners to meet timelines.
• Maintain portfolio records and trackers, including renewals, expirations, data entry, and admin operations.
• Monitor lease documentation for compliance with disclosures, insurance, move-out conditions, and governance.
• Review purchase orders and compile reports for rent and property payments.
• Support internal coordination for property management workflows and site operations needs.
• Identify friction points to continuously improve administrative and transaction workflows.
