You will own GL responsibilities across multiple accounts and collaborate with a seasoned accounting team valuing initiative and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with flexibility for related backgrounds.
• Real estate accounting experience (development, construction, property management, or investment).
• Strong general ledger experience across balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Hands-on involvement in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Ability to independently manage responsibilities, prioritize deadlines, and take initiative.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with cross-team communication.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities across multiple accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Play an active role in the month-end close process.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and reporting packages.
• Analyze account activity, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership and team members on reporting requirements and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
