Job summary

HDR is seeking a Real Estate Services Technician in Rosemont, IL. The role supports right-of-way projects with admin tasks, property research, title ordering, and data tracking. You will work closely with the RES team to prepare client reports and maintain organized records.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, some college, and familiarity with GIS and databases. MS Office proficiency and strong attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite experience is required.
• Experience in title, paralegal, real estate, or related fields is advantageous.
• GIS and database familiarity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as directed.
• Provide administrative duties, property research, and ordering title.
• Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed.
• Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organization, including strong editoral and verbal skills.
• Train in job-appropriate aspects of the right-of-way industry.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Real Estate Services Technician, we'll count on you to:

• Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as directed
• Provide technical services including and not limited to administrative duties, property research, and ordering title
• Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed
• Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organization, strong editorial and verbal skills. Industry experience such as paralegal, title, mortgage or real estate background is beneficial
• Train in job-appropriate aspects of the right-of-way industry
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma and some college or equivalent experience
• GIS and database familiarity

Required Qualifications

• MS Office Suite product experience
• General background-related experience beneficial, including title, paralegal, real estate, real property law or mortgage lending
