Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, communications, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to read title reports.
• General understanding of design sketches and legal descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data in project database, generate reports, manipulate data, and disseminate information.
• Analyze legal documents to ensure proper execution and notarization.
• Review right of way files to determine issues such as lease terms and restrictions.
• Read design plans to understand land rights needed.
• Engage landowners to mitigate encroachments on rights of way.
• Investigate, negotiate, and acquire leases, licenses, and permits for infrastructure projects.
• Review title information to create easements and land acquisition documents.
• Prepare database reports on ownership, acquisition status, and payments.
• Quality control of easement documents and filing in records systems.
• Coordinate field office activities with ROW team, landowners, and clients.
