The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization provides strategic insights and execution on real estate-related projects and services internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Real Estate Project Manager include:

  • Apply space standards to create design drawings and develop budgets for Advisor offices.
  • Competitively bid and negotiate all construction details with contractors and vendors.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Review lease documents for applicable design and project management requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects (new offices/renovations/closures) simultaneously.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design
  • 3+ years of experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification

Architectural Design: Knowledge of architectural design; ability to design physical objects and structures like buildings, bridges and walls, following relevant building codes and organizational protocols.

Budget Management: Knowledge of the principles and methodology of budget management; ability to utilize the tools, techniques and procedures needed to establish and monitor budgets.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
