A portable client base generating at least $250,000 annually is required. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-driven attorney focused on business-oriented legal services in the real estate sector.

Duties:

  • Oversee transactions related to multi-family, hotel, and apartment properties, as well as REITs.
  • Handle joint venture investments, debt restructurings, and workouts in real estate deals.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on complex real estate matters, including lending (construction, acquisition, and permanent loans).
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, and leases.
  • Maintain and grow a portable client base, delivering high-quality, business-focused legal services.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, especially in development, acquisitions, financing, and leasing.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading transactions from inception to closing.
  • Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or similar prestigious law firm is preferred.
  • A portable client base generating at least $250,000 annually, or a strong business development plan with growth potential.
  • Extensive knowledge of the real estate market, including joint ventures, REITs, and debt restructuring.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to advise clients on their overall business goals.
Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
  • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (preferably Colorado).
Skills:
  • Expertise in complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage large, complex transactions and provide strategic advice.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work remotely effectively, maintaining high performance.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with capacity to develop and sustain a portable book of business.
What We Offer:
  • 100% remote work flexibility.
  • Merit-based compensation where partners retain 80-90% of client revenue.
  • No minimum billable hour quotas.
