A reputable law firm in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal. This position requires 1-2 years of residential real estate closing experience and strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite. You will communicate with various stakeholders, ensure documentation is processed accurately, and provide excellent customer service. The work is on-site, Monday to Friday. Job description

ProspectBlue has partnered with a reputable law firm in Richmond, VA and is seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Paralegal. The position requires a highly skilled individual with a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, strong computer skills, and the ability to work and interact with a variety of people from all backgrounds. The position is on-site at the firm office, and the work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm.

About the role:

• Communicating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and municipalities to obtain information for residential closings
• Processing and transmitting completed documentation to lenders
• Meeting with clients and residential real estate professionals
• Coordinating with attorneys to conduct real estate transactions quickly and accurately to provide excellent experiences for clients

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of residential real estate closing experience
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Word, Outlook, Excel
• Performs job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Completes work and solves problems by utilizing training, tools, reports, and analytical skills
• Pro-active, takes initiative, and excellent follow-through skills
• Ability to work on multiple deadline-driven tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to convey information effectively and accurately both verbally and written
