Job Description: Senior Paralegal

Role Overview: The Senior Paralegal will support acquisition teams by managing outside law firms and vendors, preparing and reviewing real estate documents, and coordinating closing transactions. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of real estate closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for outside law firms, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, environmental firms, lenders, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Draft, review, and organize real estate contracts and closing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews including title, survey, zoning, environmental, and lien searches.
  • Track deadlines and contingencies related to inspections, financing, and closing milestones.
  • Assist with entity formations and compliance (LLCs, LPs, etc.).
  • Maintain organized transaction files and ensure proper documentation and recording.
  • Support the acquisition team with special projects and daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certification required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in real estate transactional work, preferably in law firms or legal departments.
  • Familiarity with commercial/residential real estate closings, title work, and due diligence.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management, and closing software.
