Job summary

Arbella Capital, a private investment and family office, seeks a Director of Real Estate Operations & Finance to oversee financial, administrative, compliance, and asset‑management functions of its real estate portfolio. This hands‑on role involves reviewing statements, coordinating with professionals, and delivering polished monthly ownership reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, real estate, or related field.
7+ years of professional experience in real estate operations, finance, or asset management.
Strong understanding of real estate financial statements, leases, and operating performance.
Experience with LLC/entity administration, compliance, bookkeeping oversight, and tax coordination.
Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with property-management/accounting/portfolio-management software and ability to implement systems.
Comfort using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve financial and operational processes.

Responsibilities

Produce monthly ownership reporting covering portfolio and property performance.
Track income, expenses, cash, budgets, forecasts, and variances.
Maintain property-level and consolidated financial information; identify risks and opportunities.
Coordinate bookkeeping, ensure accuracy, and assist front-end accounting tasks.
Coordinate annual tax preparation and required schedules.
